Who we are...

Words from our team

Danielle

Danielle joined Orchardville Works in 2015 and in that time has developed many new skills. She is a valued member of the Orchardville Works team:

"I like coming into Orchardville Works and enjoy all the tasks"

Darren

Darren joined the team in 2017 and excels in attention to detail and accuracy on our customer jobs.

Fiona

Fiona joined us quite recently and has settled in very well, she enjoys the friendly Works atmosphere and developing her existing skills in print finishing and hand packing.

"It is a great place to work, learning lots of different tasks and getting to know the other trainees. It is a brilliant place and the atmosphere is brilliant and entertaining. My favourite job is doing mail shots, packing biscuits and doing scarves, placemats and napkins"

Worthy Crafts with a Cause

Finest quality Irish linen sourced from Donegal and hand frayed in Belfast to make unique scarves and table wear

"Orchardville Works is invaluable to Henderson Print, when we require specialist mailing and fulfilment. The management and their team are always able to fulfil any project we place in their care in a highly professional, organised and hassle free-manner.
I would recommend Orchardville to any organisation looking for excellent customer care and service."

Alex Robb - Sales Manager

"As specialists in bespoke printing and mailing services, Northside and Bradbury Graphics are delighted to work closely in conjunction with Orchardville Works. We consider the organisation to be one of our affiliated Print Partners and they offer us a very valuable service for some of our more bespoke projects. The team will also ensure that they pull out all the stops to ensure fitting our projects in... even with some very demanding time frames. We would highly recommend them."

David Brown - Sales & Marketing Director

"We are delighted to be a customer of Orchardville who not only do important work in the community but they also provide a professional and flexible service to meet the needs of our business"

Kevin McElroy - Manager Decco Belfast

SOCIAL VALUE ON PUBLIC SECTOR CONTRACTS

In July 2021, the Northern Ireland Executive approved Procurement Policy Note 01/21. PPN 01/21 mandates that from 1 June 2022 tenders must allocate a minimum of 10% of the total award criteria to social value.

Have you won, or are you considering tendering for a public
sector contract? If so, we can help with the delivery of your social
consideration obligations.

Connecting with Orchardville could help you meet a range of
social value considerations including:

Paid employment for education leavers

Paid employment for people 25 years old and over and unemployed for 12 months

Paid employment for people under 25 years old and unemployed for 6 months

Skills development and educational attainment initiatives

Support for the Community, Voluntary & Social Enterprise Sector

Use of Social Enterprises in the Supply Chain

Work placements

Orchardville Works was delighted to be one of the first Social Enterprises to go through this new process in Northern Ireland.

Nicola Stewart from Stewart Commercial said

" Stewart Commercials Ltd recently engaged the services of
Orchardville works for our printing needs. As a company we strive to engage as many local suppliers as we can to satisfy our day to day business needs. On this occasion we were delighted to be able to utilise the services of this efficient local social enterprise company. Working with Orchardville was straightforward and cost effective and we would not hesitate to recommend the company to others."
